School Caretaker
We are seeking an experienced and reliable School Caretaker to join a school on the outskirts of London. This is a temporary position and starting immediately, with working hours of 6:30 AM to 11:00 AM, Monday to Friday. The role is term-time only, so you will not be required to work during school holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and maintenance of all school buildings and grounds.
- Perform minor repairs, such as fixing displays and other school facilities.
- Handle cleaning tasks and maintain a hygienic school environment.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential issues.
- Collaborate with school staff to support the smooth running of daily operations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar caretaker or site maintenance role.
- Hands-on skills for basic repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Experience in cleaning and maintaining high standards of hygiene.
- Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
- Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate (on the update service or willing to apply).
- Provide two professional references.
