We attract teachers through advertising in print and word of mouth. We also make regular presentations at Colleges and Universities in and around London. Moreover, we manage a referral scheme where teachers and support staff refer other suitable candidates.

All our teachers and support staff undertake a strict screening and security check to ensure they are eligible and suitable to work in UK schools.

All applicants undertake a face-to-face interview to ensure we only recruit those that are professional, capable, enthusiastic and committed. We also assess and profile every teacher’s ability, fluency, knowledge and understanding, planning and classroom management.

We ensure that our profiling increases chances of more effective matching of teachers to vacancies. Teaching Pro also arrange for the teacher to visit the school to familiarise themselves prior to placement.

Teaching Pro run regular training sessions throughout the year, covering key areas such as national literacy, numeracy and curriculum standards, in addition to professionalism and behaviour management.

We offer professional development courses for our teachers and support staff as well as non school support, such as advice and guidance on healthcare, tax and payroll and accommodation.
